A MONTHLY CELEBRATION 

  Every month Faith and Light enables people with an intellectual disability and their families and friends to come together and celebrate the gift of one another.

WHY CELEBRATE?

  People with an intellectual disability are a precious gift to God. They are an important message for all: the most deprived are truly human, and can have a deep and rich inner life. Children and adults with a disability are right in the centre of a Faith and Light community..

HOW DO WE CELEBRATE?

  With shared prayer and friendship and a simple meeting for two hours each month. Now and then, the community will spend a longer time together.

  Every ten years, Faith and Light communities around the world go on pilgrimage together to Lourdes in the South-West of France, where Mary, the Mother of Jesus, appeared in 1858.

 Jesus gave his life to break down all barriers and bring together. God's scattered children.

  Still bearing his wounds, the Risen Lord comes to us when we celebrate, to heal our wounds and renew our strength.
